REQUEST FOR ACCEPTANCE of Median Improvements for Hovley Lane East, reduce the Faithful Performance Bond, and release the Labor and Materials Bond for the Toscana Country Club Project (Toscana Land, LLC, Applicant) (CC). REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO H&H GENERAL CONTRACTORS, INC., FOR PRESIDENT’S PLAZA EAST AND WEST IMPROVEMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,123,393.00 (PROJECT NO. 758-14) (CONTRACT NO. C37040A) (CC). Rec: By Minute Motion: a) Authorize award of the subject Contract No. C37040A to H&H General Contractors, Inc., Highland, California, for President’s Plaza East and West Improvements (Project No. 758-14) in the total amount of $7,123,393.00; b) authorize the Director of Finance to set aside 10% contingency for unforeseen conditions in the amount of $712,339.00; c) authorize the City Manager or designee to review and approve written requests for the use of the contingency for unforeseen conditions up to the contingency amounts; d) approve Amendment No. 2 to Contract C37040 with Dudek of La Quinta, California, for additional design and construction engineering support services in an amount not to exceed $55,975; e) appropriate $1,200,000 from the Restricted Capital Project Fund 451 to Account No. 4514692-4400100; f) authorize the Mayor to execute the agreements.
