**NOTES** Should any of the above inspections fail after 2 attempts there will be a fee
assessed for any re -inspections. Any change to an approved landscape plan must be
re -submitted to the City of Palm Desert for approval, prior to implementation.
CITY NOTES
1. ALL THESE DOCUMENTS SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO CITY BY FINAL
WALK WITH CITY REPRESENTATIVE BEFORE CERTIFICATE OF
OCCUPANCY IS ISSUED:
a) A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION BY DESIGNER OR
CONTRACTOR
b) AN IRRIGATION AUDIT COMPLETED BY A CERTIFIED
IRRIGATION AUDITOR.
c) A AGRICULTURAL TEST AND A SOIL ANALYSIS COMPLETED
BY A LOCAL LABORATORY.
2. ANY BACKFILL MIX MUST COME FROM A COUNTY LICENSED
GREEN WASTE COMPOSTING FACILITY.
3. LANDSCAPE CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE A YEARLY MAINTENANCE
PROGRAM, REFER TO C.P.D. MAINTENANCE GUIDE.
3. TREES, PLANTS, WALLS, SIDEWALKS AND PERMANENT
STRUCTURES, OF ANY KIND SHALL NOT BE PLANTED, INSTALLED
OR BULT-IN CVWD AND USBR EASEMENTS OR RIGHT OF WAY
WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING AN ENCROACHMENT PERMIT FROM

in accordance with the california government code, section 65591 et
seq. required efficient landscape and irrigation design in cooperation
with the local governing agency (City or County)
Approval of this drawing by CVWD staff does not constitute approval
to encroach into district and USER right away. Trees, plants, walls
and permanent structures of any kind may not be planted or
installed in CVWD and USBR easements or right—of—way without fist
obtaining an encroachment permit from cvwd.
