Accept Contract No. C40700 with Superior Pavement Markings, Inc., of Cypress, California for the Citywide Restriping Project (Project No. 564- 20) as complete; and, 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file the Notice of Completion. Background On December 10, 2020, the City Council awarded Contract No. C40700 for the Citywide Restriping Project to Superior Pavement Markings, Inc. of Cypress, California in the amount of $279,662.00. At that time, the City Council authorized a twenty percent (20%) contingency and authorized the City Manager to approve necessary changes up to that amount. The contract proceeded with no change orders and the contingency was not used. Staff has inspected the work performed by the contractor and has found said work to be complete and in accordance with the contract requirements. Fiscal Analysis There is no fiscal impact regarding the acceptance of this project and filing of the Notice of Completion. LEGAL REVIEW DEPT.
