FALL FESTIVAL PROPOSAL
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
My name is Esther Power and I am the owner of EP Black Label. I am a small business
advocate here in the Coachella Valley and a local event curator. My most recent event is The
Artisan Market located at Westfield Palm Desert, which is a monthly shopping experience
featuring Local Artisans. I am involved with several other events currently and would like to
propose a Fall Festival event for consideration.
EVENT OVERVIEW
Proposed Location: Palm Desert Civic Center Park
Proposed Timing: 2nd or 3rd weekend in September based on availability
Hours: 11am – 5pm
Cost: Free to the public
Audience: All-ages family event
Activities Included: Fun family activities, carnival type games, entertainment, food, and
Local Small Business vendor booths selling a variety of items.
GOALS OF EVENT
My goal is to bring the Coachella Valley community together to enjoy a fun filled afternoon at
the park while supporting local businesses. I would also like to offer a booth to the city to
educate the community about all the park has to offer such as the nearby Aquatic Center,
library, and the programs available to our local families.
