ORAL COMMUNICATIONS - A Any person wishing to discuss any item not scheduled for public hearing may address the City Council at this point by stepping to the lectern and aivina his/her name and address for the record. Remarks shall be limited to a maximum of three minutes unless additional time is authorized by the City Council. Because the Brown Act does not allow the City Council to take action on items not on the Agenda, members will not enter into discussion with speakers but will instead refer the matter to staff for report and recommendation at a future City Council meeting. VI. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS OF FEBRUARY 26, FEBRUARY 27, AND MARCH 3, 2004. Rec: By Minute Motion, approve as presented. Action: POSTED AGENDA ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE PALM DESERT CITY COUNCIL VII. PUBLIC HEARING MARCH 15, 2004 A. CONSIDERATION OF A COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL PLAN UPDATE AND FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA Case No. GPA 01-04 (City of Palm Desert, Applicant) (Continued from the meetings of January 15, January 29, February 5, February 26, February 27, and March 3, 2004). Rec: 1) Receive public testimony and discuss the General Plan, 2) Provide direction as to the continued process or adoption of the General Plan Amendment. Action: VIII.
