REQUEST: Approve the release of maintenance security in the amount of
$2,668.60 for PP18-0001 to the California Desert Association of
Realtors.
Recommendation
By Minute Motion, approve the release of maintenance security in the amount of
$2,668.60 for PP18-0001 to the California Desert Association of Realtors.

Backaround Analvsis
PP18-0001 is a commercial project located at 44-475 Monterey Avenue, between Fred
Waring Drive and Hahn Road. A Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of $26,686.00
and a Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of $13,343.00 were collected for grading
and off -site improvements at the time of grading permit issuance in 2018. This project
was completed and received occupancy in September 2019.
On November 14, 2019, the City Council accepted the grading and off -site improvements
associated with this project and accepted a 10% cash maintenance deposit in the amount
of $2,668.60 to be held for a maintenance period of one year. The one-year period is now
complete and staff recommends that the City Council approve the release of the cash
maintenance deposit.
