Backaround Analvsis
The 5th Annual Autism Walk, scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2019, promotes autism
awareness and raises funds for Coachella Valley Autism Society (CVASA) programs
and services. Participants complete a 1.5K walk through Palm Desert Civic Center Park
in honor of their loved ones living with autism: Participants also enjoy fun activities and
games, music, face painting, entertainment, a community resource fair, shopping and
raffles. Admission is free.
Last year's event saw 450 families and community members gather to support this
annual event and raised $11,000 for the organization. This year CVASA would like to
add food trucks and food vendors for their participants to enjoy. Adding to the
experience of this event is key to its continued success.
