Palm Desert staff works closely with police and fire officials, as well as other agencies to ensure a safe and successful event each year. In 2018, a three year contract was established with Pyro Spectaculars, Inc. and the City is currently in the second year of the three year contract. Pyro Spectaculars has produced Palm Desert's display for close to 30 years without incident and provides highly trained pyro-technicians to operate the show that function in our desert climate and under great pressure.
