Recommendation By Minute Motion, make appointments and reappointments to the various open positions and incumbent terms on the City's established Committees and Commissions, following interviews during the City Council Study Session scheduled for Wednesday, January 31, 2018, beginning at 8:00 a.m. Strategic Plan Appointment/Reappointment of individuals to the City's standing Committees and Commissions furthers the Strategic Plan's objective of continuing to provide opportunities for valuable citizen engagement in the City's governance. Background Analysis Applicant Interviews have been scheduled for Wednesday, January 31. Once they are conducted and City Councilmembers have an opportunity to provide their choices to the City Clerk for tabulation, an updated report indicating the recommendations for appointments and reappointments will be distributed for the February 8, 2018, agenda packets.
