Quarterly Report
Airport Master Plan
The ticket wing modernization project (expansion of the check-in area and airline offices) is fully
funded. Because of the time required for prequalification of companies involved and the bid
and award process, the work has now been scheduled for summer of 2020.
Air Service Development
United Airlines will add non-stop service to Newark this coming season
American Airlines will add a second daily flight to Chicago this October
Delta will start service to Atlanta this winter with one weekly flight which hopefully will lead to
increased frequencies in the future
JetBlue is adding capacity to New York this winter by switching to airplanes with more seats
Seating at PSP
As a result of the growth of the passenger traffic the seating capacity in the gate areas of the
Bono concourse are often maxed out. With the need to acquire additional seating it was
decided to also replace all current seating with the same type of chair already used in the
Regional concourse.
