Information Technology Master Plan The technology purchases are supportive of many initiatives in the Information Technology Master Plan adopted by the City Council on February 23, 2017. This action will allow for the environmentally responsible disposal of old equipment. Background Analysis All items on the attached equipment list are broken or obsolete. Therefore, staff is requesting that Council authorize disposal of the equipment according to the federal and state laws and guidelines. Staff recommends that the City Council declare the equipment as surplus property and authorize staff to dispose, donate, or sell the equipment as appropriate.
