Client First— IT Master Plan Attended Client First-It Master Plan meeting as an introduction and initial overview of the 89 initiatives contained in the I.T. Master Plan. Alex Ahluwalia Met with Marriott Desert Springs General Manager Alex Ahluwalia to discuss the JW Marriott's Events Center and potential for expansion of their facilities. January 4 City Attorney Semi-weekly meeting to discuss property transactions, pending litigation, municipal code interpretations, and routine matters. Desert Willow Discussion Met with Rudy Acosta, Anthony Hernandez, Derek White, Janet Moore, and Councilmembers Nestande and Weber to review the current "Mission Statement" for Desert Willow and discuss updating it based on recent discussions and comments by community members. Captain David Teets & Lt. Coby Webb Met with Captain Teets and Lt. Webb to discuss interim personnel assignments during the absence of Lt. Baur. January 5 Staff Meeting Met with staff to review the agenda for the January 12 City Council meeting. Kathleen Kelly Met with Councilmember Kelly to discuss routine business and concerns. January 6 Meeting with the Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem & City Attorney Met with Mayor Harnik, Mayor Pro Tem Jonathan, and Bob Hargreaves to discuss routine City business and answer questions relative to current issues. Dave Morgan Conference call with Dave Morgan to discuss measurable performance goals for City Manager's evaluation. Marilee Colton and Harry Quinn Met with Marilee Colton and Harry Quinn to discuss status of capital improvement projects at the historic Firehouse and opportunities to collaborate with the City. January 9 City Attorney Semi-weekly meeting to discuss property transactions, pending litigation, municipal code interpretations, and routine matters. Committee/Commission Interviews Met with the City Council in advance of applicant interviews to discuss staff recommendations for bolstering existing committees and commissions. Executive Management Weekly meeting with the management team. January 10 Services for John Benoit Attended funeral services for Supervisor Benoit at the St. Francis of Asissi Catholic Church. Bond Pricing Call Conference call with Janet Moore, Veronica Tapia, and Ken Dieker to review bond pricing. Chris Schoeneck Participated in a conference call with Ryan Stendell and Chris Schoeneck (Capstone Advisors) to discuss the President's Plaza parking lot and potential avenues for upgrading the infrastructure there. Gina Nestande Met with Councilmember Nestande to review the January 12 Council agenda. January 11 DVBA 2015/16 Expenditures Met with Janet Moore, Mark Greenwood, Bob Hargreaves, and Ryan Stendell to discuss expenditures during 2015/16 about which the DVBA inquired. Oversight Board Meeting Agenda Review Attended the Oversight Board agenda review meeting. Stephen Nieto Met with Eric Ceja, Stephen Nieto, and Lindi Biggi to discuss development fees for the proposed Bird Sanctuary on San Pablo. Public Safety Commission Attended the Public Safety Commission meeting. January 12 Future Expansion of YMCA & DRD Met with Ryan Stendell, Rob Ballew, and Susie Harvey to discuss expansion ideas for the YMCA and the Desert Recreation District Community Center. Desert Willow Attended meeting at Desert Willow with Derek White and residents to discuss resident play, rates, and amenities. Gina Nestande Met with Councilmember Nestande to discuss Desert Willow.
