Strategic Plan Objectives, more particularly as follows:

their efforts on improving measures of student success such as graduation rates and
achievement levels.
Energy & Sustainability — Priority 1: Reduce per capita consumption of energy and
water.

Landscape Design class who produced the top three designs to remove the turf and

approved in the FY 2016-17 budget; however, the Landscape Design class was not
offered at COD until Spring Semester 2017, so staff delayed the project to
accommodate the class schedule.
A panel consisting of three City staff members reviewed the 16 plans that were
submitted by the students. The following students' plans were selected to receive the
honorariums: $1,000 to Ignacio Moreno, whose plan will be implemented as the first
place selection; $600 to Alex Svoboda for second place; and $400 to Estaban Esqueda
for third place.
Fiscal Analysis
Beyond the amount of award there is no on-going fiscal impact.
