HomeMy WebLinkAboutPrsntatn - Deputy Chris Trueblood DayWhereas, Deputy Chris Trueblood has served with the Palm
Desert Police Department since August 2015; and
Whereas, on July 22, 2016, Mr. Willie Henry and his family,
including 4 small children, were stranded in front of the Palm
Desert Sheriff's Station; and
Whereas, Mr. Henry's family was on their way back to
Buckeye, Arizona, when they ran out of gas, money and food; and
Whereas, Deputy Trueblood was dispatched to the call and
discovered the dire situation the family encountered; and
Whereas, Deputy Trueblood used his personal money and
purchased gasoline for both of the Henry's vehicles, as well as
purchased food and water for them; and
Whereas, the Henry family was then able to safely return
home with a positive experience; and
Whereas, Deputy Trueblood is an excellent example of what
the Palm Desert Police Department represents - "Professionals
Who Care."
