The committee has accomplished a number of the objectives laid out by the Councilmembers with the ultimate vision that the City of Palm Desert will not only be sustainable but also be a leader in the field. With the support of the Council the committee is helping to create that vision. It is time for me to move on. I have other interests that need nurturing and other opportunities to serve the people of Palm Desert. Therefore, I formally resign from the Sustainability Committee effective immediately.
