Funds are available in Account No. 1104300-4312000, Administration Conference/Seminars/Workshops account. Background In order to maintain his Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification, it is necessary for the Director of Public Works to fulfill continuing education requirements. The most efficient and cost effective way to achieve this is to attend professional conferences such as the ASCE Education Event being held this year in Las Vegas, Nevada. The cost for registration, transportation and travel related expenses will be approximately $1,900.
