In 2008, Deputy Taylor began his career as a deputy sheriff with the Riverside County Sheriffs Department, assigned to the Palm Desert Sheriff's Station. As a deputy sheriff, Deputy Taylor has worked within patrol operations, Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team, and the Palm Desert Traffic Enforcement team. In 2013 and 2014, Deputy Taylor received recognition from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for apprehended 84 individuals for impaired driving. Deputy Taylor is currently assigned to the Special Enforcement Team for the city of Palm Desert. Deputy Christin Rogers has over nine years of law enforcement experience. Deputy Rogers began her law enforcement career with the Killeen Police Department, in Texas. In 2010, Deputy Rogers was hired by the Riverside County Sheriffs Department, and was assigned to the Palm Desert Station. As a deputy sheriff, Deputy Rogers has worked within patrol operations, Palm Desert Business District Team, and the Traffic Enforcement team. In 2013 and 2014, Deputy Rogers received recognition from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for apprehended 98 individuals for impaired driving. Deputy Rogers is currently assigned to the Business District Team for the city of Palm Desert. Deputy Patrick Mushinskie — BIO Deputy Patrick Mushinskie has over 14 years of law enforcement experience. Deputy Mushinskie began his law enforcement career with the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department. In 2005, Deputy Mushinskie was hired by the Riverside County Sheriffs Department, and was assigned to the city of Moreno Valley. After working within patrol operations and on the Burglary Suppression Team, he transferred to the Palm Desert Sheriff's Station. He worked within patrol operations and on the Special Enforcement Team before becoming the Canine (K9) Officer for the city of Palm Desert with Rio Rio is a three and half year old blue Belgian Malinois, which is extremely rare for his breed. In May, he competed in Holland at a country -wide K9 event, placing at the top of the event. He was brought to the United States to be used as a police service dog. In 2015, Rio completed the basic patrol K9 course and the narcotic detection course. Rio's is trained to located hidden people, evidence, and eight different types of narcotics.
