FOR THE PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS AT LAS SERENAS APARTMENTS SUBMITTED BY CONTRACTOR: DATE: CONTENTS Recommendation Veronica Tapia, Senior Management Analyst Westcon Construction Group, Inc. 81149 Indio Blvd Indio, CA 92201 October 27, 2016 Notice of Completion By Minute Motion, that the Authority Board, Accept as complete the work for Contract No. HA-35160 with Westcon Construction Group, Inc. for the Parking Lot Improvements at Las Serenas Apartments; and Authorize the Authority Secretary to file a Notice of Completion for the project. Background On May 12, 2016, the Palm Desert Housing Authority Board authorized the award of Contract No. HA35160 to Westcon Construction Group, Inc. ("Westcon") for the improvements to the parking lot at Las Serenas Apartments. The Notice to Proceed was issued on July 11, 2016. The work is complete and the area is accessible and usable. All contract work has been satisfactorily completed and final inspections have been conducted by all City of Palm Desert departments. Staff requests that the Authority Secretary be authorized to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder as acknowledgment that Contractor has completed all work. That the interest or estate stated in paragraph 3 herein in the real property herein described is SOLELY OWNED by the PALM DESERT HOUSING AUTHORITY, A PUBLIC BODY, CORPORATE AND POLITIC, a political subdivision of the State of California, and whose address is 73-510 FRED WARING DRIVE, PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA. 2. That the full name and address of the owner of said interest or estate is set forth in the preceding paragraph. 3.
