ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION Reauest for Closed Session: None Fire Dept./Cal Fire Sheriff's Department PRELIMINARY MINUTES DRAFT PALM DESERT HOUSING AUTHORITY MEETING OCTOBER 13, 2016 With Housing Authority Board concurrence, Chairman Spiegel adjourned the meeting to Closed Session of the City Council at 3:04 p.m. He reconvened the meeting at 4:01 p.m. IV. RECONVENE REGULAR MEETING - 4:00 P.M. A. REPORT ON ACTION FROM CLOSED SESSION. None V. CONSENT CALENDAR A. MINUTES of the Housing Authority Meeting of September 22, 2016. Rec: Approve as presented. B. CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY/HOUSING TREASURIES - Warrants Dated 9/16/2016, 9/23/2016, and 9/30/2016 (Joint Consideration with the Palm Desert City Council). Rec: Approve as presented. C. REQUEST FOR RATIFICATION of Executive Director's Approval of Change Order Nos. 1 and 2 to Contract for Parking Lot Improvements at Las Serenas Apartments (Contract No. HA35160). Rec: By Minute Motion, ratify Executive Director's approval of Change Order No. 1 in an amount not to exceed $3,237 and Change Order No. 2 in an amount not to exceed $18,350 to subject contract with Westcon Construction, Indio, California — funds are available in contingency for the project and will be paid from the Housing Authority Replacement Reserve Fund. On a motion by Weber, second by Harnik, and 5-0 vote of the Housing Authority Board (AYES: Harnik, Jonathan, Tanner, Weber, and Spiegel; NOES: None), the Consent Calendar was approved as presented.
