A. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO USE H.D. SUPPLY FACILITIES
MAINTENANCE FOR PURCHASE OF MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES FOR
THE PALM DESERT HOUSING AUTHORITY -OWNED RESIDENTIAL
RENTAL PROPERTIES, FISCAL YEAR 2014-2015, IN AN AMOUNT NOT
TO EXCEED $125,000.
Rec: By Minute Motion, authorize: 1) Use of HD Supply Facilities
Maintenance for purchase of materials and supplies for the
Palm Desert Housing Authority -owned residential rental properties,
pursuant to Section 3.32.110 of the Palm Desert Municipal Code, for
FY 2014-2015 in an amount not to exceed $125,000; 2) Palm Desert
Housing Authority's Executive Director or his designee to finalize any
documents necessary to effectuate the action taken herewith —
monies have been included in the FY 2014-2015 proposed
Palm Desert Housing Authority's Operating Budget, in the appropriate
Authority account.

B. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO USE LOWE'S FOR PURCHASE OF
MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES FOR THE PALM DESERT HOUSING
AUTHORITY -OWNED RESIDENTIAL RENTAL PROPERTIES, FISCAL
YEAR 2014-2015, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $40,000.
Rec: By Minute Motion: 1) Authorize use of Lowe's for purchase of
materials and supplies for the Palm Desert Housing Authority -owned
residential rental properties, pursuant to Section 3.32.110 of the
Palm Desert Municipal Code, for FY 2014-2015 in an amount not to
exceed $40,000; 2) elect to participate with The Cooperative
Purchasing Network (TCPN); 3) authorize the Palm Desert Housing
Authority's Executive Director or his designee to execute any
documents necessary to effectuate the action taken herewith —
monies have been included in the FY 2014-2015 proposed
Palm Desert Housing Authority's Operating Budget, in the appropriate
Authority account.

XIII. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS - C
Any person wishing to discuss any item not scheduled for public hearing may address the
City Council, Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency, or Housing
Authority Boards at this point by stepping to the lectern and aivina his/her name and
address for the record. Remarks shall be limited to a maximum of three minutes unless
additional time is authorized by the City Council, Successor Agency to the Palm Desert
Redevelopment Agency, or Housing Authority Boards. Because the Brown Act does not
allow the City Council, Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency, or
Housing Authority Boards to take action on items not on the Agenda, members will not enter
into discussion with speakers but may briefly respond or instead refer the matter to staff for
report and recommendation at a future City Council, Successor Agency to the Palm Desert
Redevelopment Agency, or Housing Authority meeting.
XIV. ADJOURNMENT
I hereby certify, under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California, that the foregoing
agenda for the Palm Desert Housing Authority was posted on the City Hall bulletin board not less
