RECENT CONCERNS: R-2 DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS
•Recent approval of a 2ND story addition in the R-2 zoning area.
•Residents contacted the City expressing concerns of the R -2 Zoning Height
Allowances:
➢2nd stories should not be permitted by right due to height concerns.
➢Privacy of adjacent owners should be considered.
➢Need for a public hearing process.

2.Implement a public notification process for owners immediately adjacent to the project,10 days prior to an
Architectural Review Commission (ARC)meeting.
3.Authorize the ARC to review the second-story design elements to ensure impacts to the adjacent neighbors are
minimized.
