CALL TO ORDER Christine Stein called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m. II. CONSENT ITEMS A. Approval of the Minutes and Financial Statements of the El Paseo Parking & Business Improvement District Regular Meeting of October 21, 2021. Note: Financial statement presented during the October meeting were specifically being approved for the period ending of September 30th, 2021. Rec: Approved A motion was made by Fletcher and seconded by Campbell to accept and approve. Motion passed with a 7-0-0 vote; with Campbell, Goldberg, Fletcher, Stein, Stauber, Klein, & Flaig-Moore, voting in favor; none against. IV. PARTNER UPDATES A. Lupine Plaza Presented by Debora Glickman - Council approved MIG a design firm to create a permanent design for Lupine Plaza. A subcommittee has been formed, will be looking for input and will be scheduling public workshops to involve the merchants and the community. President's Plaza Construction update presented by Vanessa Barrientos Southside - Edison began their work and anticipate being completed by early December. CVWD has encountered supply chain issues, which may delay the completion of their work. They are working on options, once those are determined they will present them to the El Paseo District and the Public. Deputy Nelson, Riverside County Sheriff's Department - There was recent theft activity that involved six merchants over at President's Plaza. Deputy Nelson advises merchants to call 911 as soon as they encounter crime or theft and then proceed to contact him. V. OLD BUSINESS A. October Marketing Report Update, Group presentation by CV Strategies - Presented the marketing report that was sent out to the Board prior to the meeting. Details of the new campaign were also presented, noting website and social media visits have increased. Page 2 of 3 El Paseo Events Update - Ms. Greene presented the events scheduled for the holidays, such as Black Friday in November and Holiday Stroll in December. Discussion ensued. VI. NEW BUSINESS None VII. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS None VIII. REMARKS A. City of Palm Desert. None B. Board Members. David Fletcher — Shared Athleta opened last week. Christine Stein — Shared Leeds and Son officially re -opened a week ago and completed construction under six months. NEXT MEETING: The next meeting was confirmed for January 20, 2021, 8 a.m. IX.
