RESIDENTIAL HVAC VIRTUAL INSPECTION CHECKLIST
This criteria is intended for a virtual HVAC replacement inspection and not
intended for new construction or new locations (Subject to approval). This must
be completed .and sig ed when submitting to the City (See handout for submittal
instructions).
1. Provide a picture of the entire front of the residence.
2. Provide a close-up picturqof the house address,
3. Provide a picture of the euipment labels,
4. Provide a picture of the o)erall equipment and location.
5. Provide pictures of all vent connections and the screws that connect the sections together.
6. Provide a picture of the condensate water lines and termination,
7. Provide a picture of the fui gas line sediment trap and fuel gas shut-off valve.
8, Provide a picture of the d
sconnect and fuse size.
9. Provide a picture of the line set demonstrated the required insulation.
10. Provide a picture of the suction port locks.
11. Provide a picture of the electrical service panel showing the equipment circuit breaker.
12. Provide a picture of the cgmbustion air vents if the FAU is installed in an appliance closet or room.
(Not required for a garage installafion)
13. Provide pictures of the smpke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors compliant with CRC R314
and R315 (SeeCity Handout If necessary for specifications and locations) or the SmokelCarbon
Alarm Declaration.
I understand and affirm that the above information regarding the residential HVAC.
installation is true and apcurate. During the review of the provided photographs,
the inspector may require a video virtualor in person inspection. The inspector will
provide specific instructions, if necessary.
