Does the city have any agreement in place for the construction of the homes on Merle St.? There may be a Housing element to that project. Check with Jessica Gonzales. The City entered into a DDA with CVHC to develop (14) lots as single-family homes as part of their Self-Help Program. (C36510) 2. Is this construction under the control of a private developer? I believe so. Check with Jessica. Yes, the construction is under CVHC’s; the lots have been transferred to qualifying homeowners and the homes are being built as owner/builder. 3. If the city has any information, any agreement, or if there is an encroachment permit related to the construction on Merle St., please provide us with a copy. An encroachment permit application was submitted for either gas or water line installation. Check with Ed Gallardo on status . UPDATE: The permit has not been issued. It is for the installation of sewer to the houses on the north side of Merle. We are waiting on more information from the contractor. Per Ed, the permit has not been issued.
