Soil Chemical Analysis Project Description: The planning and design of the Palm Village Apartments has been created with the intent to conserve and efficiently use water, while maintaining a quality, enjoyable landscape. A design style that reflects that of the "native" desert — a vibrant use of plant and rock materials — is emphasized. With the use of predominately native, naturalized and low water —use plant materials,- the plan exceeds the Coachella Valley Water District and City of Palm Desert water use requirements. Turf areas are included, however they have been sized so that they do not exceed the recreational needs of the Palm Village Apartment community. Water —use calculations have been provided, in addition to the landscape and irrigation plans, to assist landscape and irrigation personnel with irrigation Scheduling and monitoring.
