Tour Request: John Benoit Detention Center – Chris Escobedo, Assistant City Manager led discussion on potential tours during future meetings. 4. Summer meeting schedule – Chris Escobedo, Assistant City Manager asked the Committee for potential dates for a Summer Recess that will be brought back for the Committee to vote on at the June PSC Meeting. 7. First arriving Company Officer reported fire showing from the attached garage of a large single story single-family residence. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the garage with no extension into the main residence. 23CARRU066629 On , CAL FIRE / Riverside County Fire Department responded to a residential fire alarm at 1401 Sandpiper Street in the city of Palm Desert. The first fire engine arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from a single story duplex. Additional resources were requested to the incident to assist. No residents were in the home at the time of the fire. The fire was contained to the building of origin. Fire crews will remain on scene for the next two hours checking for hot spots.
