B.APPROVAL OF FINANCIALS MOTION BY BOARD MEMBER CAMPBELL, SECOND BY BOARD MEMBER STAUBER, CARRIED 4-0, to approve the financial statement ending May 31, 2023. 5.INFORMATIONAL REPORTS Board Member Fletcher arrived at this point of the meeting. A.CITY UPDATE Public Affairs Manager Soule provided an update regarding the Lupine Plaza Project and answered Board questions. B.SHERIFF UPDATE Corporal Avila introduced new Business District Team member, Deputy Brandon Amato. Chair Klein thanked the Sheriff Business District Team for a recent event with the El Paseo vendors. C.PALM SPRINGS LIFE Paulina Larson and Frank Jones, of Palm Springs Life, presented the 2023-2024 El Paseo print and digital Catalog. Board Member Longmuir arrived at this point of the meeting. D.MARKETING UPDATE The June Marketing report was provided with the agenda materials, Stephanie Greene of FG Creative, answered Board questions. The Board took no action on this matter. 6.ACTION CALENDAR A.BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024 Stephanie Greene, of FG Creative, presented the proposed budget for fiscal year 2023/24 and answered Board questions. Following discussion, MOTION BY BOARD MEMBER CAMPBELL, SECOND BY BOARD MEMBER FLETCHER, CARRIED 7-0, to approve the Budget for Fiscal Year 2023/2024 as presented. CITY COUNCIL LIAISON Councilmember Harnik provided an update on the recent activities of the City Council, noting the summer recess schedule and Outdoor Worker Appreciation Week. C. CITY STAFF None.
