It sports bold colors, ample seating, and unique designs that solidify its status as a popular Seattle destination. They redesigned their libraries based on the changing needs and desires of library users and, in 2010, opened the Nieuwe Bibliotheek (New Library), a thriving community hub that looks more like a bookstore than a library. The new library building houses Almere’s public library, apartments and a lively shopping area. RDHA’s goal was to create an inclusive gathering place, a counterpoint to the otherwise at a suburban area, and a point of pride for the city. Task #1 Storytime 10 Yes, it was great experience! I brought my granddaughter with me. She was extremely focused during the entire time. The staff demonstrated not only excellent storytelling skills but also actively engaged with the children. They went beyond just reading the book, asking questions, and attentively listening to the kids. I'm definitely planning to bring my grandkid back again. Palm Desert | Task Force Meeting 44 Page 48 The staff didn’t come to me and greet me, but they were smiling and approachable when I need to find something. I felt welcomed and joyful as soon as I walked in. Trader joes Picking up groceries for the week People are doing their grocery shopping, and staff are throughout the whole store organizing or helping customers. People have been chatting with their friends or families while getting their stuff. The staff is walking around, organizing the shelves and others helping or directing the customers. Different interactions and activities happened in every corner, the whole environment is very vibrant and pleasant. Products on the shelves, Shopping carts, etc… The staff is very approachable. They walk around instead of staying in one designated area, waiting for customers to come, and they are always available to help customers when asked.
