JANES, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT SUBJECT: CABLE COMPLAINTS RECEIVED FROM JULY 4, 1995, THROUGH AUGUST 15, 1995 DATE: AUGUST 24, 1995 There were (5) five cable inquiries received from Palm Desert residents for the period of July 4, 1995, through August 15, 1995. This is for your review and information. 1. July 14, 1995 Mrs. Hawk 72-725 Sweetbush Lane Palm Desert, CA 92260 Mrs. Hawk was complaining about the increase in the billing. ACTION: Not applicable. 2. July 18, 1995 Woman (would not give her name) The lady was complaining about Colony's cable rates going up due to more cable channels. She felt that if the customers wanted a various programming they should pay for it. ACTION: Not applicable. 3. July 27, 1995 RECEIVED AND FILED BY CITY COUNCIL Mr. Abler C 72-700 Deargrass Drive Palm Desert, California 92260 341-8287 Crib:;1.i1 CABLE COMPLAINTS AUGUST 24, 1995 PAGE 2 Mr. Abler would like WGN and EWTN. He also likes the bi-weekly montly billing, and encourages increased competition. ACTION: Not applicable. 4. July 28, 1995 Don Matthewson 47-275 Heliotrope Palm Desert, California 92260 341-5126 Mr. Matthewson would like Colony to pick up the NFL Sunday Ticket Package via direct T.V. or pay per view. ACTION: Contacted Esther Killion and passed on Mr. Matthewson's inquiry; she will talk to their marketing department. 5. August 11, 1995 Mrs. Peterson 74-800 Sheryl, Unit 9-1 Palm Desert, California 92260 341-9281 Mrs. Peterson has been experiencing reception problems.
