JANES, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT SUBJECT: CABLE COMPLAINTS RECEIVED FROM APRIL 5, 1995, THROUGH MAY 2, 1995 DATE: MAY 11, 1995 There was (3) three cable complaint received from Palm Desert residents for the period of April 5, 1995, through May 2, 1995. This is for your review and information. 1. April 4, 1995 9:00 a.m. Carol Smith 73-460 Feather Trail Palm Desert, CA 92260 341-2390 Ms. Smith phoned to state her opposition to Colony's fiber optic rebuild. I informed her that it will provide our citizens with state-of-the-art technology which will offer better picture quality, fewer outages, and a higher channel capacity. Ms. Smith stated since she is on a fixed income and doesn't watch the higher channel much, that she will drop the satellite channel package. 2. April 13, 1995 11:30 a.m. Bob Mack Portola Village Board President Me. Mack had questions regarding Colony's fiber optic rebuild, and their installation and service agreements. He also had questions about installing satellite dishes in Portola Village; I referred Mr. Mack to Ray Diaz for zoning restriction and Architectural Review Commission information. CABLE COMPLAINTS PAGE 2 MAY 11, 1995 3. April 20, 1995 10:45 a.m. R.S. Warmington 77-605 California Drive Palm Desert, Ca 92260 345-2120 Mrs. Warmington has experienced some outages related to the fiber optic rebuild. I contacted Esther Killion, and she confirmed that the rebuild is now complete in her area. I informed Mrs. Warmington that Colony has had to periodically shut the system down to do testing for the rebuild. Respectfully submitted, AY L J NE JOHN M.
