Carol Smith
73-460 Feather Trail
Palm Desert, CA 92260

Ms. Smith phoned to state her opposition to Colony's fiber optic rebuild. I
informed her that it will provide our citizens with state-of-the-art technology
which will offer better picture quality, fewer outages, and a higher channel
capacity. Ms. Smith stated since she is on a fixed income and doesn't watch
the higher channel much, that she will drop the satellite channel package.
2. April 13, 1995
11:30 a.m.
Bob Mack
Portola Village
Board President
Me. Mack had questions regarding Colony's fiber optic rebuild, and their
installation and service agreements. He also had questions about installing
satellite dishes in Portola Village; I referred Mr. Mack to Ray Diaz for zoning
restriction and Architectural Review Commission information.

Mrs. Warmington has experienced some outages related to the fiber optic
rebuild. I contacted Esther Killion, and she confirmed that the rebuild is now
complete in her area. I informed Mrs. Warmington that Colony has had to
periodically shut the system down to do testing for the rebuild.
