Discussion: The marketing subcommittee of the Desert Willow Committee recommends the following policy for golf course resident cards: 1. In order to take advantage of discounted green fees, Palm Desert residents will be asked to obtain a "Resident Card" from the Y.M.C.A. No discounts will be provided to any user of the golf course who does not have a "Resident Card". The City's ad agency is working with Kemper Golf in the design of the subject card which will be available to residents on Monday, February 10, 1997. In addition, Piper Close, Kemper's Director of Marketing, is working with the Y.M.C.A. to make sure that the necessary equipment is in place by the 10th of February.
