MOU was to define the roles and responsibilities, and contribution levels of the three Agencies with
regard to the construction of the Cook Street and Monterey Avenue I-10 Interchanges.
Through the MOU,the City of Palm Desert agreed to utilize advance funding from CVAG to acquire
the right-of-way necessary to construct the Cook Street/I-10 Interchange. In addition, the City-
agreed to transfer this right-of-way to the appropriate agency once construction was complete.

Caltrans jurisdictions. The recommended action will formally transfer to the County of Riverside
those portions of right-of-way within its jurisdiction. A subsequent Staff Report will be prepared for
the Council's consideration with regard to the Caltrans right-of-way.
