Reviews took place at different times of the day when students were numerous and playing various organized sports; when the ‘after-school’ session was active and later in the day when the playground was in use by only a handful of students and neighbors. - The grass looks well established (except between ‘goal posts’ of course). - The several activity sets of equipment all look ‘new’ with fresh paint, etc. and obviously attract lots of students. - It’s great that the area is large enough to accommodate a full compliment of students during classroom breaks as well as enough area to accommodate long distance ball kicks. It’s always satisfying to realize that the city and school have continued to join together for the active health of our population. Page 29 of 37 Page 30 of 37 Freedom Park Committee Member Maldonado  Visited Park on Monday, February 26th – 2:15PM  Bowl was being used by a gentleman doing exercise. Stated he liked Freedom Park because it was clean and close to his house.  Planters with vegetables look good. It was producing nice vegetables.  The benches are clean, and the BBQ pit looked good and clean.  The area where the kids played was in good shape and has been used by 2 mothers and their kids.  Baseball fields were still being worked on due to the floods.  Overall parked looked good Page 31 of 37 Page 32 of 37 Page 33 of 37 Page 34 of 37 Cahuilla Hills Park Design Community Engagement Survey Summary • 32 survey parcipants • Sent on Friday, February 2, 2024 • Results on Friday, February 23, 2024 Likes 1.
