Dear Bruce:
We have been given an abandoned structure to burn at 73-688 Santa
Rosa Way, Palm Desert . We are planning to use the building for
two purposes:
1 . Training exercise drill for firefighters, and
2. An orientation for City staffs and Councilmembers of the
Coachella Valley.
We have gone through the burn package approval process and have
just about completed the process. We plan to burn Wednesday,
April 4, from 0900 to 1200 hours; Saturday, April 7, from 1000 to
1400 hours; and the final burn-down Monday, April 9, from 0900 to
1400 hours.
We plan to use Saturday, April 7, as our civic orientation for
political and city staff members. I would appreciate City
approval as soon as possible in order to finalize all the
necessary details.
Thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
GLEN J. NEWMAN
