By minute motion, authorize the Mayor to enter into a Lease Agreement wIIlhTCol'fege of 7 c
the Desert (C.O.D.) for the site of the Solar Hydrogen Refueling Facility, subject to approval
by the City Attorney.
BACKGROUND:
Negotiations were completed for the lease of a site on the C.O.D. campus for the placement
of the City's Solar Hydrogen Refueling Facility. At the Board of Trustees Meeting of January
24th, the members of the Board approved the publication of the necessary legal notices to
allow execution of the lease.
At the regularly scheduled Board of Trustees meeting of February 14, 1997, approval will be
given to execute the lease that has been jointly prepared by the City Attorney and the
attorney for C.O.D.
Staff recommends that authorization be given to execute that lease on behalf of the City so
that the design and review process for the facility can start immediately.
