Staff recommends adoption of this resolution authorizing such action to proceed. The City will most likely utilize its existing contracted Emergency Services Coordinator and other Riverside County Emergency Management Department instructors for these courses. Fiscal Analysis Adoption of this resolution permits staff to secure training reimbursement through the 2016 SHSP Grant, in the amount not to exceed $7,741 , to host at least three to four Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) courses. The City Council will be requested to make an initial appropriation of $7,741 from the Unobligated General Fund for FY 2016/17; however, staff anticipates that any training related expenditures up to this amount will be reimbursed with grant funding.
