December 2 Office Hours
General availability to staff members on a walk-in basis to discuss
matters of current concern.

Meeting with department heads and leadership staff to discuss
matters of internal policy and current issues.
Build Palm Desert — Core Values Workshop
Meeting with department heads and leadership consultants as part
of Build Palm Desert initiative.
CVAG Executive Committee
December 3 Short Term Rental Hardship Appeal
Acted as Hearing Officer for a Short Term Rental extension appeal
for property owned by Lisa Vermette.
December 4 Staff Meetinq
Meeting with staff members to establish the agenda for the next
meeting of the City Council.
Citv Attorney
Meeting with City Attorney to discuss current issues involving
interpretations and applications of the municipal code, pending and
threatened litigation, the Brown Act, conflicts of interest, and other
matters.

and the committee working to increase civic engagement in Palm
Desert.

assistance by City of Palm Desert.

Participated in weekly meeting with Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, City

concern relative to the conduct of municipal business.

license fees to a duplex residential property.

matters.

Meeting with representatives from Riverside Sheriff Department,
