Pursuant to Council's direction if the majority of the property owners protest either by written ballot or at the public hearing, the district will not be formed. Thus, the City will not record the public parking easements received from the property owners; and the City will not spend money on the proposed reconstruction and improvements to this parking area. Through several meetings with the property owners city staff's confidence level is high that this district will be formed, thus, allowing the President's Plaza III parking improvements to proceed this summer.
