A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT__
AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE’S
URBAN COUNTY PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEARS
2024-2025, 2025-2026, AND 2026-2027
WHEREAS, the City of ____Palm Desert______________ has elected to participate as unit of local government (Metropolitan City) in the County of Riverside’s Urban County Program for Federal
Fiscal Years 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan City Agreement will allow the County and City to carry-out activities which are funded by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG); and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan City Agreement will allow the City to participate in the Urban County Consolidated Planning Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, FOUND AND DETERMINED, by the City Council of the City of _______________ sitting in regular session on ________________, 2023, that:
1. The Metropolitan City Agreement between the County of Riverside and the City of _Palm Desert_ is hereby approved; and
2. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to execute the Cooperation Agreement on behalf of the City of _Palm Desert__.
