Subject: Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Pre-Award
Information Sheet
The U.S. Department of Energy recently released a Notice of Funding for their Energy
Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECG) Program, which helps local governments
extend the capacity and capabilities to build a clean energy economy and self-sustaining
clean energy projects.
The EECBG program is designed to provide financial assistance to cities like ours, aiming
to improve energy efficiency, conserve resources, and promote sustainability in various
sectors. By signing up for this grant, we can unlock funding opportunities that will enable us
to implement various energy-efficient projects that will benefit both our community and the
environment.
