Scope Description and Approach
Develop a plan, submit and offer to seller, receive approval from council after negotiations
Direct City Attorney to facilitate the agreement.
Preliminary Site assessment, evaluate the geographic and environmental conditions of the area. Review historical flood data and patterns in the area.
Evaluate various flood control alternatives, including different engineering solutions, and assess their advantages and disadvantages. Consider both structural and non-structural flood
control measures.
Begin the solicitation of the design build.
Evaluate qualification and interview top scoring candidates
Procure a CEQA consultant to provide analysis of affected areas
Finalize report, comply with environmental regulations and permits to receive approval
Begin the solicitation of the design build and contract with qualified contractor.
Begin consturction and implmentation of the flood control project. Continuously monitor the project and performance.
Survey the project and provide notice of completion.
Prepare and finalize all grant documentaion for final reimbursments
