On behalf of California State University, San Bernardino, I am writing in support of the City of Palm Desert’s application to SCAG’s REAP 2.0 PATH Regional Utilities Supporting Housing
program. We support the City’s efforts to seek and obtain funding for a substation that will service the North Sphere section of the City and significantly contribute to long-term housing
affordability and meet local housing need throughout the region.
