The City was highly impacted by Tropical Storm Hilary in August 2023, which caused an estimated $7 billion in damages to our region. An emergency resiliency plan will allow the City to prioritize and develop critical emergency resiliency projects and programs within our City, to ensure we are better equipped for future climate and disaster events. For these reasons, Riverside County Fire Department is proud to support the City of Palm Desert application to the GRANT PROGRAM.
