Service Being Performed: Commercial Water Leak Detection
Performed a complete electronic leak detection on a commercial multi-unit property. A pressurized
water leak was located on the main water service line beneath the back parking lot sidewalk. An
electronic point check of the water system identified the loudest audible leak activity at the
building’s main shutoff valve. The main water service line was pressurized with tracer gas, and
dielectric detection equipment was used to locate gas surfacing at the leak area. Electronic audio
equipment was then used to precisely pinpoint the leak location beneath the concrete sidewalk.
The leak location was marked with yellow washable paint on the back parking lot sidewalk. The
property owner was advised of all findings onsite. Two hours of service plus tracer gas were paid
by credit card onsite.

Major Repair Option
Plumbing Repairs Exterior Spot Repair
Estimate for service line spot repair. includes digging down to expose leak on service line, cut out
and replace affected section of pipe and backfill. If line is unable to sustain a spot repair, full
replacement of the service line will be required. Re-test of repair and/or system to verify that
repair is holding pressure. If it is determined that isolation is required due to a new leak, isolation
will be performed at rate of $150.00 per hour, plus tracer gas if applicable.

This repair includes a one-year workmanship warranty.
