PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
CASE NO. AMEND-PP22-0003
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Development Services Department has received a request from Palm
Communities to amend the previously approved Precise Plan PP22-0003. The proposed amendment would
modify certain aspects of the previously approved project. Prior to consideration by the Planning Commission
and City Council, the proposed amendment is subject to design review by the Palm Desert Architectural Review
Commission (ARC), pursuant to Palm Desert Municipal Code (PDMC) Section 25.72.030. Following ARC
review, the request will be presented to the Planning Commission for consideration at a duly noticed public
hearing.
PROJECT LOCATION: The northwest corner of Gerald Ford Drive and Technology Drive, APN 694-120-028
and portion of 694-120-029
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: AMEND-PP22-0003 The project proposes to amend the previously approved
development plan to replace the approved swimming pool with a dog park. The proposed amendment also
includes the addition of seating areas and shade structures within the outdoor common area. No other
changes to the previously approved development plan are proposed as part of this request.
PUBLIC HEARING: The Architectural Review Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider the
Design Review at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. in
the Administrative Conference Room at Palm Desert City Hall, located at 73510 Fred Waring Drive,
Palm Desert, California, and via Zoom teleconference. The agenda for this meeting is available on
the City of Palm Desert website at: https://www.palmdesert.gov/government/meetings
PUBLIC REVIEW: The plans and related documents are available for public review Monday through
Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by contacting the project planner, Sijifredo Fernandez. Please
submit written comments to the Planning Division. If any group challenges the action in court, issues
raised may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in
written correspondence at or prior to the Architectural Review Commission hearing. All comments
