PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
CASE NO. PP-26-0001
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Palm Desert Development Services Department has
received an application to demolish two existing tennis courts at 73500 Irontree Drive and construct
a new 8,253-square-foot accessory spa building and lap pool for Ironwood Country Club. A Precise
Plan is subject to Planning Commission approval (meeting date to be determined). Prior to Planning
Commission consideration, the project requires Design Review by the Palm Desert Architectural
Review Commission (ARC) pursuant to Palm Desert Municipal Code (PDMC) § 25.68.020.
PROJECT LOCATION: 73500 Irontree Drive
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: PP-26-0001 (Project) is located at 73500 Irontree Drive (APN 655-270-
001), within the Ironwood Country Club. The applicant proposes to demolish the two northwesterly
tennis courts and construct a new 8,253-square-foot spa building and lap pool. A precise grading
plan has also been submitted as part of the Project.
PUBLIC HEARING: The Architectural Review Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the
Design Review at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. in
the Administrative Conference Room at Palm Desert City Hall, located at 73510 Fred Waring Drive,
Palm Desert, California, and via Zoom teleconference. The agenda for this meeting is available on
the City of Palm Desert website: https://www.palmdesert.gov/government/meetings
PUBLIC REVIEW: The plans and related documents are available for public review Monday through
Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by contacting the project planner, Payton Thomas. Please submit
written comments to the Planning Division. If any group challenges the action in court, issues raised
may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written
correspondence at or prior to the Architectural Review Commission hearing. All comments and any
