Having discussed the proposed revisions, staff has decided to deny the request. The approved landscape plan is in conformance with the landscaping now being proposed for the Redevelopment Area. A departure from the approved landscaping treatment for the bank site, in our estimation, would fail to tie-in the subject site with adjacent areas relative to the landscaping aspect. So that the bank's site will be in compliance with the Redevelopment Plan's proposed landscape element, we request that you proceed with the approved plan.
