Per a telecom today with Bob Bonnett, Bob requested that Ronald
Gregory Associates, Inc. (RGA) complete working drawings for the
Brothers Office complex.by Wednesday of this week, pursuant to a
. request from Katherine Sass, o the City of Palm Desert.
I explained to Bob that there are several issues that have to be
- resolved on our preliminary landscape plan prior to our
commencement of working drawings. These are as follows:
. 1. In a telephone conversation with Eric Johnson on Friday,
4/12/91, he stated that the City had not yet resolved the
drainage issue at the end of the entry drive. I asked Eric
to inform RGA as soon as possible with their decision so
• that we may revise this item on our preliminary landscape
plan.
2 . Eric additionally stated, in a previous telecom, that the
City may require a meandering sidewalk along the entry .
drive.
3 . Frank Urrutia, during an Art in Public Places Committee
Meeting, suggested that the transition from the north end of
the parking lot to the park area be softened by lowering the
retaining wall and adding terraced planters, or sloping the
. grade.
4 . Bob Bonnett stated' today that the retaining wall on the
north side of the existing building may not be necessary.
These must be resolved prior to our proceeding with construction
documents. RGA will need approximately ten (l0) working days to
complete our construction document package. Therefore, it is
very important that these issues be resolved as soon as possible.
