Mr. Smith indicated that staff had two concerns with the praposed

the fact that the sign is to read "Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner", which
the commission has been opposed to in the past.
Gommissioner Cook was concerned that the additional signage was a
completely separate sign. He felt that the proposed sign should
tie in with the existing sign. He asked the applicant if all of the
signs could be redesiqned.
Commissioner Martin indicated that he could pt as much signage
inside of the windows as he wanted and suggested that he use neon t
make it more visible. Mr. Smith noted that code states that the
siqnage must be 3 feet from the window.
The applicant indicated that the existing sign was too small and
trat he was tryinq to let people know that they served food. He
stated that it wou1d GOSt him between $7,00 and $8,00 to redesign
the siqns.
