Mr. Diaz informed the commissian that Hacienda De Monterey has received a Stop Notice on wrrk an the air conditionirig units. They have not screened the air conditioning units. Mr. Norm Reyrwlds infomed the ca►mission that they received the stop rxtice and that was the first indicatioaz they had fran anyone that tYyexe was a potential problem with the visibility of the air conditionirig units on the roofs. It was decided that the special meeting would be held on Tuesday, Februazy 21, 1989, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hacienda De Nbnterey job site. V. Camissioner Holden asked the status of the Village Lounge sign. Mr. Smith stated that le would have Pat Bedrosian i.n..pect the sign - Time frame of 48 hours was given so that the required ch-iges to the sign can be made. VI. . The meti.ryg was adjourned to a Tuesday, FebruaYy 21, 1989, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hacienda De Monterey job site. ,'Adjourned Meeting - Catnrissioners Holden, Sullivan, Drury and McC`rea were present on the site with Norm ReynQlds of Cter Communities. The crmissi cancluded that a framed stuccoed screen would be constructed around the entire second floor roof with sufficient height to screP.n the roof equ.ipment fran the sidewalk in front of the tawri center parking lot. For other buildings a aaarable vantage point would be nplayed. Maximum height of the total stxucture could rxt exceed 22 feet. The wall shruld cantaan sane architectural detailirig to corYYplement the buildiuyg. The condenser units mounted on the lawer roofs might be acceptably camouflaged by painting them to match the stucco. The adequacy of this approach would be reviewed once some units are painted. The applicant will also be required to sulanit constructian drawings of the screaz walls for architectural camussian appraval. Vote carried 4-0. . ;'. _Steve 'th, Associate P1 /fr 9
